This morning, I visited the Joie/ Equipment sample sale.
I had seen a couple of the items Cammie got when she went last time, and was so excited for some deals!
I woke up at the crack of dawn,(8 AM), and got some SKVL’s and SKHZL’s for me and Cams.
There were a few minor problems:
1. There was no parking.
2. It was pouring
3. There was a line halfway down the block
Dangit.
We finally got in, and perhaps it’s because the 40 people ahead of us picked over the best shiz, but we barely got anything.
It also didn’t help our moods when all the people in the dressing rooms looked like models….
Alas, we went to my fave place, Downtown…..Please recognize the sarcasm.
But today I found a gem.
Why no one has ever taken me here is a conundrum.
Bottega Louie is so up my alley it’s not even funny.
With the Laduree style boxes, and the fresh baguettes that meet you at the door, I knew I was going to love it.
And we did.
Mimosas, prosciutto and burrata pizza, and of course macaroons, the restaurant is now on my top 5.
