Two birds with one stone.

So for my SOC. class here in Italia, I am to write a journal of 100 words everyday. These will be MINI gigs.

I have been living an Italian lie. I don’t know what is more baffling: realizing Santa Claus was a fictional character, or that oil and vinegar do not go on bread in the country of Italy. I was aware of a few of the customs here in Italia, such as the no tipping, or tip when you want. I read about the different ways to order coffee at a Café (thanks to travel guru Rick Steves), but was ignorant to the fact of having any type of coffee with milk after 11 AM is pretty much uncultured. I understand why the waiter in Venice cracked an awkward smile, stopped speaking, and stared at me funny when I ordered a Cappuccino at 2:30 in the afternoon to cure my Jet lag.
