I feel like we had a mini wedding.
It was perfect.
The only way I can describe it, was that it was just
so. much. fun.
We were surrounded by many of our friends and family in the most beautiful place, with all of my favorite foods-sliders, quesadillas, pigs in a blanket?!?
Bliss.
I wish Pico could have been present, but she would have needed to be heavily sedated (which would have been weird to have at an engagement party).
The way I described the venue to my guests, was imagine you’re going to the White House for a cocktail.
I made a critical error by not starting with a marg after I arrived at the White House.
We had a photographer come and take a few candids, which then turned into a mini photoshoot pre-party.
By the time we got back to the patio, a number of our guests had arrived, and the chatting began.
I started to get a bit overwhelmed since every step I made I was greeting a new guest.
I am a pretty extroverted individual, so I can only imagine if you are not, how overwhelming these events can be.
After tears during my Dad’s hilarious speech, I finally felt like I could relax.
I barely saw Jordan throughout the party, but managed to be with him for the most part in our original and natural habitat- The Clerb.
25 of us went to Hyde, and 25 of us stayed out until 2am.
Sunday.
I ate a cheeseburger and reflected on my tequila intake, while receiving the same text message.
“I am so hungover, but last night was so much fun. So much fun.”
Thank you to my Aunt and Uncle for hosting and for everyone who attended and traveled out to Los Angeles for the party.
xo,
