To all those people who said to me, “Lisa, if you just lay out for 30 minutes a day, you will get a tan.”
You were all wrong.
WRONG, WRONG, WRONG!
I decided to tan at my tropical vacation for three days straight.
When I got home, I realized my sunburn on my chest was not just a mild tone of red, but a sun rash.
When I arrived in Cabo, it got so bad that people thought I was a burn victim.
I will not put a picture up due to viewer discretion, but basically it looked like someone had placed two pieces of prosciutto on my chest.
Ok, maybe I am overreacting, but the hotel staff seemed genuinely concerned.
I needed to find a chaise with an umbrella and one of the guys at the pool was helping me find one. I told him it was important to have one because of my skin.
“So were you born with that or did it just happen to you?” he said referring to my effed up chest.
Awesome.

I had to tell him that I was not born with it, and how it was merely a bad sunburn.
Besides my alter ego of a burn victim, Cabo was wonderful.
